Downstairs you will find a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bedroom with two single beds that can be joined into a large double, plus a shower room. There is even a sofa bed just outside the upstairs bedroom, useful for a child up to 12 travelling with the group.

The outdoor space is where Villa Sofimar earns the “beachfront” part of its name. A pergola with sofas for shaded lounging, a dining area with table and six chairs, a BBQ with coals for evening dinners, and a pool with its own fountain feature, at 7.5m by 2.5m with a 1.5m depth. Sunbeds for four guests sit around the pool, and there is an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a walk to the beach.

Who it suits best
Villa Sofimar is not trying to be the biggest villa on the island, and that is exactly the point. It is a tight, private, brand new space for a couple, a small family, or two couples travelling together who want the beach at their doorstep and a proper pool and terrace to come back to. If you are after that beachfront feeling without needing five bedrooms to justify it, this is one of the strongest options in Corfu right now.
